Orbits explores the forces that organize our relationships to ideas, objects, people, and systems. Drawing from the gravitational language of astronomy, the series asks what happens when an orbit becomes conceptual rather than physical. Forms circle, intersects, attracts, repels, and breaks from expected paths, creating visual maps of influence and connection.

Part of Universus, Orbits uses recurring glyphs, diagrams, and symbolic structures to visualize the invisible forces that shape how we move through culture, identity, memory, and time.

In physics, an orbit is the gravitationally curved trajectory of one object around another. Orbits extends this idea beyond the physical world, asking whether concepts, symbols, memories, and beliefs can exert their own forms of gravity.
What do we gravitate toward? What revolves around us, and what do we revolve around? What happens when we break from a circular or elliptical course and establish a different trajectory?
Within Universus, Orbits explores these relationships as a system of attraction, influence, repetition, and transformation. Glyphs and geometric forms become bodies in motion, while lines, patterns, and spatial relationships map the forces operating between them. Some forms remain bound; others collide, overlap, drift, or escape.
Rather than depicting astronomical space, Orbits creates conceptual maps of the forces that shape experience — examining how an idea, object, symbol, or individual can alter another's trajectory.
