PORTALS

The Portal series explores how works of art can serve as a means of entrance or exit. The prints and canvas works serve as a doorway, gate, or opening in which you are one side looking through to another. Glimpses of other realms emerge through the silver, gold, and bronze inks set against clear varnishes. Throughout the series, the symbols, colors, bold lines, and sinuous forms work together to make the territories increasingly more defined.
